David R. Gillie Fundraiser
Three Cache County favorites — Lower Family Foods of Richmond, the Old Rock Church bed and breakfast and events center in Providence, and Dr. Scott Bradley of Logan — are teaming up to throw a fund-raising dinner for David R. Gillie, who is running to become our next Cache County Clerk.
Alan Lower and sons, Chad and Lee, have agreed to provide the dinner for the $50/plate event on Wednesday 28 AUG from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Ralph Call, proprietor of the Old Rock Church B&B and Reception Center, is hosting the dinner in his reception hall, which comfortably seats 150. Dr. Bradley, preeminent American Civics lecturer and former candidate for the Vice-Presidency of the United States, will be the key-note speaker.
Those wishing to attend the fund-raising dinner can purchase 8-seat or 6-seat group tables for $400 or $300, respectively, or individual tickets at $50, online at Ticket Tailor here: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/platformrepublicans/1308395
“I couldn’t be more excited for this event, nor more appreciative of the civic spirit and generosity of the Lowers and Mr. Call,” says Mr. Gillie. “And, of course, Scott Bradley’s wisdom, learning, and rightly celebrated teaching gifts are certain to make the event both a dinner and fundraising success and to send us home with the sound civic edification that we all need most.
Gillie notes that first thanks are due to the architects and organizers of this blue ribbon fundraising event. These are Layne Beck, long a major force in Cache County and Utah Republican circles, and Todd Holland, founder and Chair of Cache County Conservatives, both of Smithfield.
“I am truly floored with the generosity and energy of the Beck, Holland, the Lower family, and Call, says Gillie. And, as always, I can’t wait to hear my friend Scott Bradley speak.”
“My heartiest thanks to all.”
